Booking a Class
We offer Mini Footy classes at a number of venues across the Taunton area, with four age-specific groups for children from approximately 18 months to 8 years.
Our age groups are a useful guide rather than a strict rule. Our priority is for your child to enjoy their sessions, grow in confidence and develop at a pace that’s right for them.
If you’re new to Mini Footy, you can book a taster session before deciding whether you’d like to join us regularly.
Taster Sessions

Taster sessions cost £11 and are a great opportunity for your child to meet our coaches, experience a Mini Footy session and see how they get on.
There is no registration fee to book a taster session.
If you’d then like to join Mini Footy regularly, you can book your child’s place in one of our monthly classes below.
Monthly Membership
From October 2026, regular Mini Footy sessions cost £9.50 per session and are booked and paid for monthly in advance.
Your monthly payment will depend on the number of Mini Footy sessions taking place during that month’s booking period.
If you join part-way through a month, you’ll only be charged for the remaining sessions available to book.
New Member Registration & Mini Footy Kit
When your child joins Mini Footy as a new regular member, there is a one-off £30 registration fee, which includes their new Mini Footy kit.
New members must select the £30 Registration Fee when completing their first regular booking.
The registration fee includes:
• Mini Footy shirt
• Mini Footy shorts
An individual voucher code to order your child’s Mini Footy shirt and shorts in the correct sizes through our official ICON Sports shop.
Socks and other optional items can also be purchased separately through the shop.
The £30 registration fee does not apply to taster sessions or existing Mini Footy members.
Summer & Winter Venues
We like to play our football outside when the weather is good and usually this will be between April and October.
Please note some of our venues have a different location in summer and winter:
Saturday Taunton classes:
Summer: Blackbrook Leisure Centre
Winter: University Centre Somerset Sports Hall
North Petherton Friday classes:
Summer: Parker’s Field
Winter: North Petherton Community Centre
Trull classes:
Winter: Trull Memorial Hall
Summer
: Trull Memorial Hall Park
