Mini Footy Terms & Conditions – Version 2.0

These Terms & Conditions apply to new Mini Footy bookings made on or after 1 October 2026. If your booking was made before that date, the terms accepted at the time of booking continue to apply unless Mini Footy and the parent or carer agree otherwise.
1. About these terms
1.1 These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which Mini Footy provides children’s football and physical-development classes, tasters, pay-as-you-go sessions, monthly memberships, Discovery Days and related services.
1.2 “Mini Footy” means the Mini Footy business providing the relevant service. “Parent” or “Carer” means the adult making the booking or responsible for the child. “Participant” means the child attending the Mini Footy activity.
1.3 The price, venue, class time, age group and other booking-specific information shown during the booking process form part of the agreement.
2. Bookings and acceptance
2.1 A booking is accepted when the booking process has been completed and any payment due has been successfully received or otherwise agreed by Mini Footy.
2.2 The Parent or Carer is responsible for providing accurate, up-to-date information and for telling Mini Footy promptly about relevant changes, including contact details and information that may affect safe participation.
2.3 Where the booking process requires acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, completing that acceptance forms part of the booking agreement.
3. Tasters, PAYG and monthly membership
3.1 Mini Footy may offer taster sessions, pay-as-you-go (“PAYG”) sessions, monthly memberships and other booking options. Availability varies by class and venue.
3.2 The price and booking conditions for the option selected will be shown at the point of booking.
3.3 A monthly membership reserves the Participant’s place in their regular class while the membership remains active, subject to these terms.
4. Fees and payments
4.1 Fees are payable in accordance with the payment schedule shown at booking.
4.2 If a payment fails, Mini Footy may contact the Parent or Carer and ask for the outstanding amount to be paid. Mini Footy may suspend future attendance or release a reserved place if payment remains outstanding after reasonable attempts to resolve it.
4.3 Mini Footy may change prices from time to time. Existing customers will be given reasonable notice of changes that affect future payments.
4.4 Nothing in these terms removes or limits any rights a consumer has under applicable law.
5. Cancelling a monthly membership
5.1 Monthly membership fees are paid in advance and reserve the Participant’s place in their regular Mini Footy class.
5.2 One month’s notice is required to cancel a monthly membership. Notice should be given to Mini Footy by email at kickoff@minifooty.co.uk or by another cancellation method Mini Footy has specifically provided.
5.3 Membership and the reserved place continue during the notice period. Payments falling due during that notice period remain payable in accordance with the agreed payment schedule, and the Participant may continue attending until the confirmed final date.
5.4 Where applicable law gives the customer additional cancellation or refund rights, those rights are not affected by this section.
6. Pausing a membership
6.1 Mini Footy may, at its discretion, agree to temporarily pause a monthly membership. Unless otherwise agreed, a pause must be for at least one full month.
6.2 A paused membership does not reserve the Participant’s existing class place. Mini Footy may offer that place to another child while the membership is paused.
6.3 When the Participant is ready to return, Mini Footy will offer a suitable available class where possible. If the previous class is full, the Participant may need to join a waiting list or attend an alternative class.
6.4 A family wishing to guarantee the Participant’s existing place during an absence should keep the monthly membership active.
7. Attendance and missed sessions
7.1 If the Participant misses a booked session for personal reasons, including holiday, illness or another commitment, there is no automatic entitlement to a refund, replacement session or credit.
7.2 Mini Footy may offer a transfer, credit or other arrangement at its discretion where operationally possible. Any such arrangement does not create an ongoing entitlement for future missed sessions.
7.3 Participants should not attend when they are unwell with a contagious illness or where attendance would create an unreasonable health or safety risk to others.
8. New Starter Registration Fee and official Mini Footy kit
8.1 Where stated during the booking process, a new monthly membership is subject to a compulsory £30 New Starter Registration Fee.
8.2 The New Starter Registration Fee covers new-starter administration and includes the Participant’s entitlement to a standard official Mini Footy playing kit, subject to the size and fulfilment options available at the time.
8.3 Mini Footy may fulfil the kit entitlement through a supplier voucher, direct supplier arrangement or another reasonable fulfilment method. The internal value or structure of any supplier arrangement does not reduce the Participant’s entitlement to the standard kit included with the registration fee.
8.4 The registration fee is separate from class fees and is not normally transferable into class credit or cash. This does not affect any statutory rights or any alternative arrangement Mini Footy expressly agrees in writing.
8.5 If membership ends before the kit entitlement has been used, an unused kit entitlement will normally remain attached to that Participant until any expiry date communicated when the entitlement is issued, unless Mini Footy agrees otherwise.
9. Kit sizing, personalisation and fulfilment
9.1 The Parent or Carer is responsible for selecting the required kit size and checking any personalisation details before an order is submitted.
9.2 Kit is made or supplied to order and production lead times may vary. Indicative lead times are not guaranteed delivery dates.
9.3 Once a personalised or made-to-order item has entered production, changes or cancellations may not be possible. This does not affect rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.
9.4 Any supplier voucher or kit code is for the intended Participant or household, is not for resale and may be subject to an expiry date shown when issued.
10. Discovery Days and promotional taster events
10.1 Where a Discovery Day is advertised with a £5 booking payment, the £5 reserves the Participant’s place and the booking page will explain the applicable arrangements before payment.
10.2 If the Participant attends and then joins Mini Footy, the full £5 will be credited towards the joining payment.
10.3 If the Participant attends and the family decides not to join Mini Footy, the full £5 will be refunded.
10.4 If the family cancels after the cancellation deadline stated for that event, the £5 is not normally refunded in cash. Instead, the family may choose either (a) to carry the original £5 forward as credit towards a future Discovery Day, or (b) to book a future standard Mini Footy taster for £5 instead of the usual taster price applicable at that time.
10.5 If the Participant does not attend and the booking has not been cancelled in accordance with the event arrangements, the £5 is retained.
10.6 If Mini Footy cancels the Discovery Day or is unable to provide the booked place, the £5 will be refunded in full.
11. Changes, cancellations and circumstances outside Mini Footy’s control
11.1 Mini Footy may occasionally need to change a coach, venue, class time or session arrangement for operational, safety or other reasonable reasons. Mini Footy will give as much notice as reasonably practicable.
11.2 If Mini Footy cancels a session or cannot provide a booked service, Mini Footy will consider an appropriate alternative session, credit, refund or other reasonable remedy according to the circumstances and the customer’s legal rights.
11.3 Where disruption results from circumstances genuinely outside Mini Footy’s reasonable control, Mini Footy will act reasonably and will not use these terms to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Parent, carer and participant responsibilities
12.1 Parents and Carers must follow reasonable safety instructions from Mini Footy coaches and venue staff and must ensure that Participants behave in a way that does not create an unreasonable risk to themselves or others.
12.2 The Parent or Carer must tell Mini Footy about relevant medical, behavioural, accessibility or additional-support information where it is reasonably necessary for safe and appropriate participation.
12.3 For classes where a responsible adult is required to remain, the Parent or Carer must stay for the session. A Participant may only be left without their Parent or Carer where Mini Footy has expressly stated that the relevant class, school, nursery or other programme operates on that basis.
12.4 Mini Footy may refuse or suspend attendance where reasonably necessary to protect the safety or welfare of the Participant, other children, families, staff or venue users. Wherever appropriate, Mini Footy will first try to resolve concerns constructively with the Parent or Carer.
13. Safeguarding, photographs and personal data
13.1 Safeguarding concerns will be handled in accordance with Mini Footy’s safeguarding procedures and applicable requirements.
13.2 Photography or video for marketing or promotional purposes will be handled separately from the core booking terms and in accordance with the permissions or choices made available to parents and carers. A child will not be required to appear in marketing material as a condition of participating in Mini Footy.
13.3 Personal information will be handled in accordance with Mini Footy’s Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
14. Mini Footy materials and intellectual property
14.1 Mini Footy’s name, branding, session plans, stories, written materials, training content and other original materials remain the property of Mini Footy or the relevant rights holder.
14.2 Customers may use materials supplied for their own personal and family use but must not copy, publish, sell or commercially exploit Mini Footy materials without permission.
15. Liability and consumer rights
15.1 Mini Footy will provide its services with reasonable care and skill and will take reasonable steps to operate sessions safely and appropriately.
15.2 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under consumer law.
15.3 Mini Footy is not responsible for loss or damage that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the contract was made, or for loss arising from a customer’s failure to follow reasonable instructions or provide relevant information, except where the law provides otherwise.
16. Complaints and queries
16.1 Mini Footy aims to resolve questions or concerns promptly and fairly. Parents and Carers should contact kickoff@minifooty.co.uk or telephone 03301 336436 so the matter can be reviewed.
16.2 Raising a concern promptly helps Mini Footy investigate what happened, but these terms do not impose an artificial deadline that removes legal rights.
17. Changes to these terms
17.1 Mini Footy may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to services, systems, prices, operational arrangements or legal requirements.
17.2 Where a change materially affects an existing ongoing membership, Mini Footy will give reasonable notice where required and will not rely on a change retrospectively where doing so would be unfair or unlawful.
18. General
18.1 If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
18.2 A delay by either party in enforcing a right does not mean that right has been waived.
18.3 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer right to bring proceedings in another court where the law permits.
