📖 Kicking Off a Magical Adventure: Celebrating World Book Week at Mini Footy!
At Mini Footy, we’ve always believed that a football is more than just a piece of sports equipment—it’s a vehicle for imagination. This week, we are stepping off the pitch and into the pages of our favourite stories. As we celebrate World Book Week, our sessions are transforming into a live storytelling experience where your little ones are the main characters!
Why Storytelling and Football?
You might wonder what a “Deep Dark Wood” or a “Secret Garden” has to do with sports. For a child aged 18 months to 8 years, the answer is everything.
By using story-led play, we help children:
Build Confidence: It’s much easier to try a new skill when you’re helping Peter Rabbit escape Mr. McGregor!
Develop Motor Skills: Navigating through “Gruffalo footprints” encourages better balance and coordination than a standard drill ever could.
Improve Listening: Following the “plot” of our sessions helps even our youngest Astro Tots sharpen their focus and social skills.
