A new term is a brilliant opportunity for children to try something new.
At Mini Footy, football is just the beginning. Our imaginative, age-appropriate sessions help children develop confidence, coordination, communication, friendships and football skills, while having plenty of fun along the way.
Children don’t need any previous football experience. Whether they’re confident and ready to get stuck in or prefer to watch for a little while before joining in, our friendly coaches help children take part at their own pace.
Taster sessions are available for £10, giving your child the chance to experience a regular Mini Footy class before deciding whether they’d like to continue.
What Happens at a Taster Session?
- Find a suitable class for your child’s age and location.
- Book a £10 taster session and come along to one of our regular Mini Footy classes.
- Meet your coach and join the fun at your child’s own pace.
- Decide afterwards whether you’d like to continue with Mini Footy.
Why Mini Footy ?
Mini Footy brings together fun, education and football through imaginative, age-appropriate sessions for girls and boys aged approximately 18 months to 8 years.
Through football-themed games and adventures, children can develop football skills alongside confidence, balance, coordination, communication, teamwork, social skills and friendships.
Most importantly, we want children to enjoy being active and develop a positive relationship with sport from an early age.
Ready to Give Mini Footy a Try?
A taster session is a great way to see whether Mini Footy feels right for your child.
There’s no need for previous football experience and no expectation that every child will join in straight away. Some children can’t wait to get started, while others prefer to watch, stay close to their grown-up or take a little time to build their confidence.
That’s absolutely fine. Our aim is to help children feel comfortable, included and excited about coming back.

Discover Mini Footy for FREE
At selected times throughout the year, we run special Mini Footy Discovery Events, giving families the opportunity to come along, meet our coaches and experience Mini Footy completely free of charge.
These special events are designed for families discovering Mini Footy for the first time, with fun, age-appropriate sessions where children can play, explore and build confidence at their own pace.
