On Saturday 21 November, we’re opening our doors for a special Mini Footy Discovery Day at SCAT Sports Hall, University Centre Somerset, Taunton. It’s a chance to meet our coaches, see how our sessions work and, most importantly, let your little one have a go.

Football with a story
At Mini Footy, we believe football should be about much more than learning to kick a ball.
One week, the children might be exploring the jungle. Another week, they’re off on a rescue mission or travelling through space. Along the way, they’re developing coordination, confidence, listening skills, friendships and a love of being active.
We call it football with a story, and it’s what makes our sessions a little different.
You don’t need football boots, previous experience or a child who’s already mad about football. Just bring a little curiosity and a willingness to have fun.

Four sessions, designed for different ages
Each Discovery Day session lasts 30 minutes and is tailored to the children’s ages and stages of development.

Parents join in with Astro Tots and Cosmic Kickers. For Shooting Stars and Supernovas, parents can watch from the side.

Date: Saturday 21 November 2026
Venue: SCAT Sports Hall, University Centre Somerset, Wellington Road, Taunton TA1 5AX
Event hours: 12:00–3:00 pm; children’s sessions finish at 2:30 pm.
Booking deposit: £5 per child, refundable under the Discovery Day booking terms.
Places are limited, so please book in advance. Arrive 10 minutes before your child’s session, bring water and wear indoor trainers, not football boots.
We’ll also have special offers available on the day for families who’d like to continue with Mini Footy.
